Irish revellers are five times more likely to have a one night stand in the month before Christmas than other times of the year, according to a new survey.

It found that a third of women (32%) and a similar number of men (36%) have enjoyed one night stands.

The Christmas party season kicks off tomorrow (Friday, November 25) in Ireland - and it is the most popular event for one night stands.
