Irish man claims he was slapped with €91,000 bill for roaming charges after week abroad

A man has been left shocked after he returned from his seven-day holiday abroad only to find a huge bill purportedly from mobile network Three.

The man said he had exceeded his roaming data limit while in Europe for a week and was slapped with a €91,000 bill when he returned.

Taking to TikTok, he said: “I exceeded my roaming data limit while travelling in Europe for seven days, and when I came back to Ireland, I got this message.”
