A man whose body was recovered off the coast of Donegal on Sunday has been named locally.
Brendan Sadler sadly passed away while swimming close to Bunagee Pier, Culdaff.
The retired teacher at Cranna College is believed to have been a frequent swimmer in the area.

Gardai were alerted to the scene after a man was spotted in the water at around 11.15am.
His body was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted at a later date.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances of the discovery of a body of a man in his 70s in the water at Bunagee Pier, Culdaff, Donegal”.
It is understood that early investigations indicate the incident may have been a tragic accident.
Mr Sadler will be reposing at his residence before Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart Carndonagh at 11am on Wednesday.
A funeral notice reads: “The sudden death has taken place of Brendan Sadler, Pound Street, Carndonagh.
“Reposing at his late residence. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart Carndonagh on Wednesday at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
“Family flowers only, please.”
The local community have been devastated by the tragic death.
Taking to Facebook, Malin GAA club offered up its condolences to the Sadler family.
It said: “The Malin GAA club wish to express their condolences to underage coach John Sadler, on the passing of his father, Brendan over the weekend. Thoughts and prayers are with John and the extended family at this sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.”
Others joined the club to express their sympathies.
One said: “Coldolences to John, Cora and kids and all the Sandler family. Very sad.”
While a second said: “May his soul Rest In Peace , condolences to his family”.
