Irish man raves about 'game changer' €42 pillow that gave him 'best night's sleep in years'

An Irish man has raved about a €42 Ikea pillow that he claims gave him the “best night’s sleep in years”.

The man says he bought it after seeing someone else praise it online, and hasn’t regretted the decision.

Taking to Reddit Ireland, he shared a picture of himself holding the MJÖLKKLOCKA pillow.

He wrote: “One of you suggested this Ikea pillow a few weeks back … game changer, best night’s sleep I’ve had in years.”

The pillow, which is for sale for €42 in Ikea Ireland, is described as an ergonomic pillow for side/back sleepers.

Ikea says: “One side gives optimal support for side sleeping and the other for back sleeping. The cushioning memory foam is like a surprisingly supportive cloud that keeps the same comfy temperature all night.”

In the comments, one person questioned: “What makes this a game changer?”

The poster responded saying: “It’s some sort of memory foam, but doesn’t compress and lose too much shape. It’s also contoured to support your neck and head properly.”

Another person asked: “What problem did it fix for ye?”

To which he responded: “Had to fold the old one in half to get the level of comfort, but I also toss and turn quite a bit at night and have a bit of lower back pain. I don’t think I moved more than twice last night with this.”

Other people agreed that the pillow is also a “game changer” for them.

“Bought this exact pillow and it's honestly true, I sleep so damn well now!” one person wrote.

Another added: “Yeah, they're excellent. I haven't looked back since I got one.”

Someone else said: “I got one of these a year ago and it's holding up really well. It's basically the same as when I first got it.”
