Recent job postings across Irish employment websites show a wide range of opportunities in areas such as technology, administration, retail and transport.
Ebay in particular are currently advertising a wide range of positions, having launched a recruitment drive in Ireland. The majority of E-bay job postings are positions that offer candidates the chance to work from home.
The international e-commerce company are looking for people with data, administrative and communication backgrounds.
Starting salaries range per position but benefits include a bike to work scheme, health insurance and pension. A communications intern role with E-Bay has a starting salary of €28,000.
The company, which is headquartered in Blanchardstown, is listed as one of the 25 best multinational companies in Europe.
Other roles currently on job websites include civil service positions nationwide.
Civil service positions available include Accountant Grade II roles across government departments in Dublin. There is also a vacancy for an assistant secretary within the Department of Defence based in Newbridge. Salary details are not provided on the website.
Lidl is another large company looking for employees nationwide, with 76 postings for customer assistants available on their careers website. The German owned supermarket chain increased its hourly rate of pay from the national minimum wage to €12.90 back in January, which is €2 above statutory minimum wage. Employees working within the company for over four years are then entitled to a €14.90 hourly rate. There are also four managerial roles on offer across the company nationwide.
Dublin Bus are also recruiting for professional bus drivers. The transport service offer weekly pay of €632.05 a week for a four-day-week schedule, while those operating a five-day-week shift receive €860.
