The Easter holidays are approaching - and many families will be looking at their options for a getaway during the end-of-term break. Even though trips aren't cheap at the moment, deals are being offered that are worth considering.
Irish Ferries is selling a special Easter package to Disneyland Paris for £225 per person, inclusive of park tickets, nearby accommodation and round-trip sea crossings. The transport company says: "Families can begin their adventure by hopping on a ferry at Dover, enjoying the sea breeze instead of airport chaos, take all the Mickey Mouse ears, princess costumes and magical wands that the heart desires, and really get in character before escaping to the wonders of Disneyland Paris.
"Known as one of the happiest places on earth, a trip to the magical kingdom will allow kids to immerse themselves in the world of Mickey, Minnie and friends, whilst enjoying the exhilarating theme park rides, shows, and top-notch themed restaurants. Disneyland Paris is famous also for its spectacular daily parades, where there is singing, dancing, and the family’s favourite characters all coming together for a big, unified celebration.
"Staying in the Marne La Valle Noisy hotel, just 25km from Paris, means that a Parisian adventure also awaits, with some of Europe’s top landmarks such as the Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe and Louvre within reach."
The package costs £899 for two adults and two children under 12. This includes return ferry travel from Dover to Calais with a vehicle, three nights' hotel accommodation and one day/one park passes for two adults and two children.
Irish Ferries says the price is reflective of travel from April 4-7 2023 but this "may fluctuate dependent on time of booking". To book call 03717 300 400 or email holidays@irishferries.co.uk.
