The Irish Derby takes place at the Curragh this afternoon on what is a bumper day of Irish sport.
Some 20 minutes before Dublin v Mayo throws in at Croke Park, the classic will be run at the Co Kildare venue.
Auguste Rodin is looking to follow up his Epsom heroics by becoming the 19th horse to do the English/ Irish derby double after the likes of Nijinsky (1970), Shergar (1981), Sinndar (2000), Galileo (2001) and High Chaparral (2002), as well as Camelot (2012), Australia (2014) and Harzand (2016) more recently.
