Irish bloodstock farmer sells Royal Ascot runner for €1.3million months after purchasing him for €11,000

Irish bloodstock farmer Con Marnane was celebrating on Monday after selling a Royal Ascot runner for almost €1.3million.

Coventry Stakes contender Givemethebeatboys was bought for £1.1million at the Goffs London Sale on the eve of his run at the famous meeting.

The Bungle Inthejungle colt changed hands for €11,000 at the autumn yearling sales back in November, but after winning each of his two starts in the colours of Theresa Marnane, he topped the sale when bought by Bronson Racing.
