Irish band Wild Youth performs single 'Through The Phone' for Belfast Live Sessions

Irish band Wild Youth have performed a stripped-back version of their 2020 single 'Through The Phone' for Belfast Live Sessions at Limelight.

It comes as the Dublin band - who have racked up multiple millions of streams on Spotify and emerged as one of the biggest emerging pop bands in Ireland - are set to play at Limelight 2 on Saturday, March 5.

The band found massive success both at home and abroad with a string of singles in 2017 and 2018, including 'All or Nothing', 'Can't Move On' and 'Lose Control'.

Their 2019 debut EP The Last Goodbye - which was packed with catchy dance/pop tracks - solidified their position as one of the best things to come out of Ireland in recent years.

The band, which is made up of David Whelan (vocals/guitar), Ed Porter (guitar/vocals), Conor O'Donohoe (keyboards/vocals), and Callum McAdam (drums), have also been productive in the last two years, despite lockdown woes.

Their track 'Champagne Butterflies' was an instant hit, while the single release of 'Through The Phone' was also met with success.
