Storm Eunice is barreling towards Ireland and set to make landfall overnight with Met Eireann warning of a "danger to life" weather event.
Schools are shut in many counties, shops are opening late in others and people are being warned not to leave their homes - read more on that here.
There are now five warnings, two of which are red, ahead of the destructive front with the south and south-west set to be worst hit.

Status Red - Wind warning for Cork, Kerry and Clare.

Status Red - Wind warning for Waterford

Status Orange - Wind warning for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, Munster, Galway
Storm Eunice will track quickly over Ireland tonight and Friday morning bringing severe and damaging winds for a time. Southwest or cyclonic winds becoming northwest will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80 km/h with gusts up to 130 km/h. Some coastal flooding, especially at high tide.

Status Orange - Snow warning for Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon
Storm Eunice will bring heavy sleet and snow leading to blizzard-like conditions in parts with treacherous driving conditions.
Valid: 03:00 Friday to 15:00 Friday.
Status Yellow - Wind & Rain & Snow warning for Ireland
Storm Eunice will track over Ireland on Thursday night and on Friday bringing very strong winds and falls of heavy rain, sleet and snow.
Some disruption is likely along with a possibility of coastal and spot flooding.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: "It will become stormy overnight in Munster, southeast Leinster and western counties with extremely strong southwest winds, becoming northwesterly with severe and damaging gusts. Risk of coastal flooding at high tide early on Friday morning. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees.
"On Friday morning, it will be very windy or stormy over all of Ireland with very strong northwesterly winds and severe and damaging gusts.
"There will be further falls of rain, sleet and snow with blizzard-like conditions for a time in parts of the north and northwest. Some thunder in places too. Disruption to travel can be expected. In the afternoon, winds will moderate overland and it will be cold with sunny spells and wintry showers. Afternoon temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees.
"Friday night: Clear spells and wintry showers at first with moderate to occasionally fresh westerly winds. Later in the night, rain will spread eastwards across the country, falling as sleet or snow in some areas. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees with freshening southerly winds.
