Ireland is set for a warm three days as a band of hot air moves across the country.
However, things look set to change on Friday as an expert warns that an ‘unseasonable’ change is on the way.
Met Eireann said he east will see the best of the conditions with mainly sunny spells until Thursday, with just a few scattered showers.

A forecaster said: “Temperatures got up to 23c today, and while tomorrow will be damp and cloudy it will still get up to 19c. Wednesday and Thursday will get up to 21c with plenty of dry weather and sunny spells but temperatures will drop back quickly for Friday and the weekend with rainfall too!”
They added: “Planning on camping this weekend? Keep an eye on weather forecasts as we approach the weekend it could be unseasonable cool, especially at night!”

Today, June 21
Starting out dull and damp today with locally wet conditions. Whilst it will become drier through the afternoon, it will remain rather cloudy with possible showers following.
Some bright or sunny spells may break through later, though. Highest temperatures will range 16 to 19 degrees in just light northwest or variable breezes.
Calm into tonight too, but generally damp and misty with patchy outbreaks of drizzle. Lowest temperatures will range 10 to 12 degrees in mainly light northerly breezes.
Wednesday, June 22
Similarly, tomorrow Wednesday will begin on a dull note with patches of mist and drizzle, all in just light westerly or variable breezes. An improvement into the afternoon, however, as sunny spells break through.
Becoming primarily dry too, apart from well scattered showers across the south and east.
Feeling warm in the sunshine with highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees, best values away from the northwest.
Dry and clear in most areas through the night. Cloud will increase from the west with some patchy light rain or drizzle developing along the coasts near morning.
Lows not falling below 9 to 13 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.
Thursday, June 23
Quite cloudy again on Thursday with some patchy outbreaks of light rain or drizzle during the morning.
Becoming drier and brighter later in the afternoon and through the evening hours.
Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees, warmest in the southeast in light to moderate westerly winds.
Cloud will build in from the west Thursday night as patchy rain reaches the Atlantic coasts. Mild with temperatures generally not falling below 9 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly breezes.
Friday, June 24
Friday looks to be a wet day with a band of rain spreading west through the country, followed by showers and sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 with light to moderate southerly winds.
Saturday and Sunday look to be quite unsettled with low pressure dominating the weather over Ireland, bringing showers or longer spells of rain with temperatures in the mid to high teens and moderate variable breezes.
