Ireland is set to see an end to the wet and windy weather in just a few days as a band of high pressure moves over the country.
Met Eireann has forecast temperatures to return to the late teen and early twenties before the week is out, with the first half of July looking clear and sunny.
However, a Status Yellow Rain warning has been issued for three counties today.

Heavy rainfall, which may bring localised flooding and some travel disruption, will be seen in Antrim, Armagh and Down from 5am until 10am this morning.
A forecaster said: “The trends still look good for next week with high pressure building in over Ireland. Still uncertainty on the details including the temperatures and how much cloud but looking good”.
They added, speaking of today: “A mix of sunny spells and showers again tomorrow with some heavy showers moving East in the afternoon. Up to 19c in the East but just 14c to 16c in the West with light winds.”
Here is a more detailed look at Met Eireann’s forecast.
Today, June 30
Today will see a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers across the country, particularly along the east coast early on.
Some showers may turn heavy or thundery at times. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in light westerly breezes.
Showers will become more isolated overnight. Cloud will gradually build from the west, with patchy drizzle developing on the western and northwest coasts by morning.
Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in light westerly breezes.
Friday, July 1
Friday will start off cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain or drizzle across the country.
More persistent rain will arrive to western areas in the morning, gradually spreading eastwards through the day.
It will be mostly cloudy with dry intervals and some patchy drizzle or light showers at times. In the afternoon, more heavy rain will develop in the west and spread eastwards through the evening.
Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with moderate southwest winds becoming southerly.
On Friday night, the rain will clear eastwards with clear spells and scattered showers following. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.
Saturday, July 2
Saturday will bring sunny spells and scattered showers. There will be some decent dry intervals too.
Highest temperatures ranging from 14 or 15 degrees in the northwest to 19 degrees in the southeast with moderate westerly winds.
Sunday, July 3
Sunday will be mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells and a few showers. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in light to moderate westerly breezes.
A good deal of dry weather is expected next week though there will be showers at times. Temperatures will be in the high teens to low twenties.
High pressure will build in from the west. However, in the northwesterly airflow, it will remain cooler than average over much of Connacht and west Ulster.
In contrast to this past week, it will be drier than average across the country.
In the second week of July, high pressure will build to the west of Ireland, continuing drier than average conditions and temperature in the south and southwest of the country will be slightly above average, while the rest of the country will have near-average temperatures and the airflow will be quite slack.
