The end of September is set to be a cold one, as Met Éireann's latest forecast has hinted that "cooler" conditions will arrive in the next few days.
We've seen highs of over 20C in the last few weeks, but people will have noticed that when the sun has gone down, things have turned awful nippy out there.
It seems we're in for similar weather in the near future - as Arctic fronts start to affect the Irish weather once more.
Temperatures will swing as low as 3C at night time, according to the latest prediction from Met Éireann, while some brisk winds will make things blustery as we start next week.
It doesn't start too badly on Friday, with the forecaster saying that "any mist or fog will clear to give a cool but mostly dry start to the day with bright spells of autumn sunshine.
"Whilst it will be mostly dry, scattered showers will move down across the country through the course of the day, some turning heavy across east and southeast counties later. Feeling fresh with highest temperatures of 14 to 17C."
We get the first inkling of the change on Friday evening - which will be "largely dry and clear outside of a few showers. Chilly with lowest temperatures of 3 to 7C"
It's a similar story on Saturday with things starting rainy but clearing away as the afternoon goes on before a wicked twist at night.
Met Eireann continue: "Another fresh day with highest temperatures of 14 to 16C, but overnight will be mostly dry with increasing cloud feeding in a few showers into northern and western coasts by morning. Lows of 3 to 8C."
To round out the weekend, Sunday will see "a cloudier day with well scattered showers. Rather cool with highest temperatures of 13 to 16C.
"Turning breezy later in the day with moderate to fresh westerly winds developing, accompanied by spells of rain during Sunday evening or early Sunday night. Overnight lows of 8 to 11Cwith brisk west to northwest winds".
