The days of sunshine and hot temperatures are set to continue for Ireland in the coming days.
While we know the Bank Holiday Weekend will be lovely, questions remain about what's coming for the weather after it. Although the band of high pressure we're currently enjoying is expected to lower, it's not all bad news.
The grass may be begging for some rain and the flowers may be parched but they'll have to keep waiting. Current indications from Met Eireann say that temperatures may drop slightly and we may get some showers but we're still looking at above average conditions next week.

Here's what to expect:
Wednesday
Plenty of sunshine with patches of cloud. Temperatures will be between 16C and 19C - cooler at the coastline.
Thursday
Loads of sunshine expected once the morning clears up. Temperatures will be between 19C and 24C.
Friday
Another scorcher of a day with temperatures between 18C and 24C. Once again it will be cooler at the coastline and there will be a bit of a breeze.
Bank Holiday Weekend
The lovely weather will continue with temperatures around 18C to 24C. The high pressure will be sticking around to ensure a great weekend.
Further Outlook
Once we pass the Bank Holiday weekend there could be a bit of change on the way. While there could be a day or two more of lovely weather, signs are pointing to a drop in in pressure which will bring temperatures down.
Expect some rain and showers but it will be mainly dry according to Met Eireann.
