Drivers across Ireland are being warned to take care amid the Met Eireann warnings in place as temperatures plummet and ice forms on roads.
Dublin Fire Brigade shared a terrifying image of a car turned on its roof in the middle of the road after meeting treacherous conditions on its commute.
It was confirmed that one person was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, however, their injuries were thankfully not life-threatening.

Alongside the picture, Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted: “We should all be aware of the warning of a cold snap issued by @MetEireann at this stage.
“Take care on the roads over the next few days. Expect ice.
“One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following this incident off the N2 earlier.”
Met Eireann issued two Status Yellow warnings for Ireland across Thursday and Friday as the worst of conditions arrives.
The alerts are for low temperatures, ice, and hazardous conditions as an arctic airmass makes its way over Ireland.
The national forecaster has warned that we’re in for a cold snap over the next few days as sharp to severe frosts appear and icy stretches are expected on the roads.
The first Status Yellow warning, for ice, runs from midnight tonight until 12:00 pm on Thursday with temperatures predicted to plunge to -4C.
A second Status Yellow warning is then in place for low temperatures and ice, which will remain in effect from 10:00 pm on Thursday until 10:00 am on Friday.
