Ireland Under-21 winger Liam Kerrigan could be getting a famous teammate at his new Italian side Como.
Cesc Fabregas is on the verge of moving to the Serie B side on a free transfer, according to reports last night.
The former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea man had been linked with a move to Spanish second tier side Las Palmas.

However, Como are now favourites to land the 35-year-old on a two-year deal and add him to their push for promotion next season to Serie A.
Kerrigan’s departure from League of Ireland side UCD to Como was confirmed last month by Students boss Andy Meyler.
He said: “I’m delighted for him. It epitomises what this club is about. A guy going with a degree in his back pocket to a level of football that is really good.”
