Ireland is set to sizzle over the coming days as temperatures climb as high as 25 degrees on Friday.
Warm weather with sunny spells in the south and east will be seen this week. However, it will be cloudier in the north and west, with showery outbreaks of rain at times.
Things will become fresher later on Friday as a cold front spreads across the country from the northwest, with somewhat more unsettled conditions for the weekend.

Met Eireann has said this evening things will stay generally cloudy across Connacht, Ulster and north Leinster this evening with showery outbreaks of rain.
Elsewhere will remain predominantly dry with sunny spells - highest temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees, coolest in the northwest, in light to moderate southwesterly winds, fresher in the northwest.
For many, tonight will be dry with clear spells, though scattered showers will continue in the west and northwest. Temperatures not falling below 9 to 13 degrees, with some mist patches developing as light winds fall calm at times.
The north and northwest will be cloudy with patchy rain at times tomorrow and highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees.
Other areas will be warmer and mostly dry with hazy sunny spells and highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.
A mild night on Thursday staying dry with clear spells across much of Leinster, Munster and south Connacht, but cloudier elsewhere with scattered showers, especially in west Ulster, where it will become heavier and more prolonged towards morning - lowest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate southerly breezes.
It'll be a dry, warm and sunny start to Friday across Leinster and Munster, cloudier and cooler in Connacht and Ulster, with rain becoming more persistent.
It will then become cloudier and cooler across the country through the afternoon with a band of rain gradually sinking southeastwards, breaking up as it does so.
Highest temperatures by early afternoon in Munster and southeast Leinster of 20 to 24, or possibly 25 degrees, with highs of 15 to 20 degrees elsewhere, coolest near northwest coasts.
It will become noticeably cooler everywhere by evening as mostly moderate southerly winds veer northwesterly.
Becoming mainly dry on Friday night with some clear spells developing. Fresher than previous nights with lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in a light northwesterly wind.
Cloudy conditions will persist through much of Saturday in the southeast, with sunny spells developing elsewhere and a few scattered showers, mainly in the northwest.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in a moderate to fresh north to northwest wind.
Scattered showers will persist along Atlantic coasts with a mix of cloud and clear spells on Saturday night - lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a primarily moderate northerly wind.
Sunny spells and scattered showers on Sunday with highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in moderate to fresh north to northeast winds.
Early next week, it looks to remain somewhat unsettled with showers at times but with a good deal of dry, bright weather too. Highs will bounce back, getting up to the high teens and low 20s.
