Ireland to get subzero blast this week but Met Éireann predicts late November surge

Temperatures could hit 0 degrees overnight this week but Met Éireann is forecasting a slight upturn in fortunes later in the week.

In its latest forecast, Met Éireann predicts the weather will turn "quite settled with slacker winds and patchy rain or drizzle at times, while temperatures will be a near average generally."

Before that we could have to endure some colder nights with temperature to slump to zero overnight on Monday.
