Ireland's Under-19s handed home advantage and favourable draw in Euro qualifiers

Ireland's Under-19s have been handed home advantage in their bid to qualify for next summer’s European Championships in Malta.

Tom Mohan’s side will host Slovakia, Estonia and Greece next March, with the venues to be confirmed.

Ireland last qualified for the finals at this level in 2019, when they made it all the way to the semi-finals in Armenia, only to lose to Portugal.

Meanwhile, the Under-17s face a much trickier task in their qualification bid, as they must travel to Cyprus to take on the group hosts, Italy and Ukraine.

Ireland U19s v Slovakia (March 22), Estonia (March 25), Greece (March 28)

Ireland U17s v Italy (March 7), Ukraine (March 10), Cyprus (March 13)
