A lorry split in half in the latest incident at Ireland's most battered bridge this afternoon.

The Shanty Bridge on the Blakestown Road in Mulhuddart is notorious for its low-hanging overpass which has caught many drivers by surprise.

And today, a lorry became the latest victim as it became wedged underneath the overpass, seeing the back of it fall off.
