Ireland obsessed with 'wonder chair' which boosts sexual satisfaction that Vogue Williams swears by

Demand for a new “wonder chair” credited with helping improve the sex lives of men and women is on the rise in Ireland.

The Emsella chair – whose fans include Vogue Williams – restores weak pelvic floor muscles and treats incontinence through electromagnetic stimulation.

It has also been credited with boosting orgasm strength as it increases blood flow to the pelvic floor and perineal area in women.

The treatment also triggers production of collagen – making the tissues of the genital area more sensitive which increases sexual satisfaction.

And aNuMe clinic in Cork city says it has been “inundated” with appointment bookings for the chair which already has a mass following in the US and the UK.

Consultant and plastic surgeon John Curran said: “The BTL Emsella Chair helps with pelvic and sexual health both in men and women, but especially for women with pelvic floor issues.

“It’s amazing, you sit on the chair, fully clothed, for 30 minutes at a time and it does its work.”

Pelvic floor health is having its moment thanks to the likes of Vogue Williams, Joanne McNally and Jennifer Zamparelli lifting the lid on “vagina tightening”.

Childbirth can weaken pelvic floor muscles and podcaster Vogue, 37, revealed she used “this special buzzing chair” called PelviPower, adding: “It’s amazing.”

Dr Curran said the clinic was seeing an increase in the number of men seeking treatment for various issues.

He added: “Definitely the most common surgeries for me are breast reduction, abdominoplasty, liposuction and upper eyelid work. There hasn’t really been a shift in that.

“The most popular procedures requested at aNuMe Medical Clinic in Cork are injectables.

“Botox and hyaluronic acid filler injections – these are minimally invasive.

“Then there’s the Fotona 4D laser system which has a wide array of applications with the most popular at the moment being the 4D facelift, a minimally invasive treatment.

“It can also be used for tightening and improving the tone and texture of the lower eyelid or neck skin.”
