Ireland have three players nominated for Player of the Six Nations

Ireland and France split the nominations on the shortlist for the 2023 Guinness Six Nations Player of the Championship.

Andy Farrell's men defeated England on Saturday to complete a Grand Slam, and France, who finished in second place, each received three nominations.

Ireland received three nominations with Caelan Doris, Hugo Keenan, and Mack Hansen named. The world number two have had Thomas Ramos, Damian Penaud, and Antoine Dupont nominated for the honour.

The winner of the award in 2022, Dupont, has been nominated for the award for a third time.

The shortlist for the 2023 Nations Player of the Championship is based on nominations from the international media, which includes representatives from each of the six participating countries.

On Friday, March 24, the winner and the Team of The Championship will be revealed.
