A hilarious moment that ensued on the talk show Ireland AM on Wednesday had host Alan Hughes being forced to walk off-set after being left in stitches by a joke.
The TV personality was roaring laughing after he made a joke that also resulted in his two co-hosts Muireann O'Connell and Tommy Bowe bursting into a fit of laughter.
The situation forced him to leave the studio for a short moment so he could contain his laughter.

While on air, Muireann read out a message from a viewer of the show about their dog and its fondness for Celine Dion songs. "Our dog always howls when we play Celine Dion in the house for some reason,” the text said.
Hilariously, Alan then responded to the text by howling like a dog, with all three co-hosts bursting out laughing. "I don’t know why I did that!" Alan said as he couldn't stop laughing.
"Thanks for that, serenading us this morning. Our own Celine Dion there," Tommy responded as he also started laughing.
Alan was then forced to leave the studio for a moment so he could catch his breath from laughing so hard. Even as he returned, all three presenters were struggling to contain their laughter.
Fans were loving the hilarious and bizarre moment, with viewers flocking to a post made on the Ireland AM Instagram page that shared a clip of the funny bit to comment about how it made them laugh.
One fan commented: "Oh Alan you make my day to hear you laughing”.
Another added: "Alan you're a breath of fresh air. You never fail to make me laugh. Keep up the good work."
One more posted: "No 1 messer.”
