Iranian State Media Reports Facilities Secure After Strike

Smoke rises after what the Iranian media said was an Israeli strike on a building close to the Iranian embassy in Damascus

Following a strike in Iran's Isfahan province, Iranian state media have reported that all facilities in the area are secure, including significant nuclear facilities. A US official has indicated that Israel carried out the strike, although Israel has not officially claimed responsibility for the attack. Iranian media is downplaying the impact of the strike, suggesting that important facilities near Isfahan have not been significantly damaged.

State media in Iran has emphasized that there have been no reports of enemy aircraft entering Iranian airspace. The Iranian government and local media outlets are portraying the events surrounding the strike in a somewhat ambiguous manner, indicating that while incidents have occurred, they have not resulted in substantial harm to critical facilities near Isfahan.
