The Iranian government has stated that there is 'no significant difference' in the impact of who becomes the president of the United States, as reported by state media. This announcement comes as former President Donald Trump is reportedly on the verge of potentially reclaiming the White House.
According to sources linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the state media agency in Iran conveyed that the spokesperson for the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, affirmed that the general policies of Iran and the United States remain consistent. Mohajerani further mentioned that 'necessary measures have been planned in advance' in relation to this matter.
Furthermore, Mohajerani emphasized that the election of the US president holds 'no connection' to Iran and reiterated that the 'general policies of the US and Iran are unchanged,' as per the sources.
