Iranian asylum seeker fighting UK deportation to avoid being flogged for affair with sister-in-law

An Iranian asylum seeker is battling against deportation from the UK by arguing that he would face violent retribution if deported because of an affair with his sister-in-law.

The 20-year-old says he would be at risk of violence from his brother, a soldier in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, as well as his wider family.
