Iran's Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Sardar Bagheri, issued a warning to the United States through the Swiss embassy regarding potential cooperation with Israel. Bagheri stated that US bases would be at risk and could face consequences if they support Israel in any future actions.
Bagheri declared that Iran considers the recent military operation against Israel as concluded. Despite this, Iranian armed forces remain vigilant and ready to respond if necessary.
If Israel retaliates, Bagheri emphasized that Iran's next operation would be more significant. The term 'Zionist regime' is used by Iran to refer to Israel.
Bagheri justified Iran's recent strikes as a response to Israel's destruction of an Iranian consulate building in Damascus on April 1. The attack allegedly resulted in the death of several officials, including a top Revolutionary Guards commander.
Israel, however, denied responsibility for the incident, claiming that the building was a military facility of the Quds forces disguised as a civilian consulate.
Bagheri condemned Israel's actions and insisted that a response was warranted. The situation remains tense as both Iran and Israel stand firm in their positions.
