Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has strongly condemned Israel's killing of a senior commander from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in a recent strike on Beirut, Lebanon. The minister stated that this act of aggression by the Zionist regime will not go unanswered.
The attack, which took place on Friday, resulted in the deaths of Abbas Nilforoushan, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and several other Hezbollah commanders. Iran's parliament speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has vowed that Iran-aligned armed groups will continue to confront Israel in response to the killing of Nasrallah.
Qalibaf emphasized that they are prepared to escalate their support for the resistance and will not hesitate to take any necessary actions. He also accused the United States of being complicit in these actions and stated that they must be prepared to face the consequences of their involvement.
