Iran has recently made strong statements regarding its support for the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the event of an Israeli offensive in Lebanon. Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi emphasized Iran's commitment to backing Hezbollah 'by all means' against Israel, warning of the potential for a regional war involving Arab nations if conflict erupts in Lebanon.
Kharrazi's remarks were followed by comments from a senior Iranian commander, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, expressing eagerness for further strikes against Israel. Hajizadeh referenced a previous attack in April, where Iran reportedly launched a significant number of drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles at Israel, marking the first direct Iranian assault on Israel.
