Iran, US restart crucial nuclear talks in Qatar with EU mediation

Tehran, Iran – Iran and the United States will restart their stalled talks, aimed at restoring a landmark 2015 nuclear accord, in Qatar with mediation by the European Union.

Nasser Kanani, newly appointed as the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry, told Iran’s state-run IRNA news website on Monday that Tehran’s chief negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani will travel to Doha on Tuesday to begin the talks.
