Recent developments in Iran have seen the capital city of Tehran adorned with billboards and posters honoring Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah leader who was tragically killed in an Israeli air strike in Beirut, Lebanon. These displays of support feature captions such as 'The beginning of the victory of God' and 'This is the path of jihad. It ends in victory or martyrdom,' showcasing the Islamic Republic's unwavering backing of Hezbollah during this challenging time.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who shared a close relationship with Nasrallah, publicly mourned the loss of the Hezbollah leader during a rare appearance leading Friday prayers in Tehran. Khamenei also justified Iran's recent missile strikes against Israel on October 1, further highlighting the deep ties between Iran and Hezbollah.
