Iran school massacre: Israel blames US, US blames Iran, Iran blames Israel

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu‘s apocalyptic bombardment of Iran has killed hundreds of people. On one level, mission accomplished, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead. On another? Well, a girls’ elementary school also took a direct hit and 180 were killed, the vast majority of the victims little girls between the ages of 7 and 12.

The lucky ones were killed instantly, but devastating footage on social media shows frantic locals trying to rescue partially crushed children from the rubble. It’s utterly horrifying, and fingers are now being pointed as to who was responsible.

Suspicion instantly turned to Israel, with locals at the scene identifying it as an Israeli bomb. The school was in the same neighborhood as an Iranian military base and, judging by the years of devastation in Gaza, it sounds all too plausible that a “precision” Israeli bomb intended for that base hit the school. Whether that’s by mistake, incompetence, or just because someone felt like exploding a school is unclear.

“Don’t you dare try to pin this on us!”

Now Israelis are saying it wasn’t them. Eylon Levy, the former spokesperson for the Government of Israel, is blaming the US for the incident: “don’t you dare try to pin this on us”.

The Trump administration has said it’s “investigating” what happened. Meanwhile, MAGA is frantically trying to pin this on Iran, saying that the school was destroyed due to an Iranian missile malfunction. This is a lie, with their “evidence” a photograph proven to have been taken 800 miles away and a fabricated screenshot claiming Iran had accepted responsibility:

So, that narrows it down to two candidates for killing these girls: Israel or the United States. Neither is taking responsibility for the strike, and both have a long history of launching missiles into public buildings.

Presumably, the truth will emerge in time, but until then, the town of Minab is left with the horrifying job of burying their dead, even as Israelis and Americans frantically blame someone – anyone – else for this. The fact that neither will accept responsibility is telling. They know this is an atrocity. They hope you’ll just forget about it.
