Iran death toll hits 6,159 and currency plunges to record low after Trump threats

Iran's bloody crackdown on nationwide protests has killed at least 6,159 people and many others are still feared dead, activists said Tuesday.

The updated death toll came as a U.S. aircraft carrier group arrived in the Middle East to lead any American military response to the crisis.
