Furthermore, the official highlighted the possibility of Iran expanding the range of its missiles due to the changing dynamics of international relations. Despite having the capability to produce nuclear weapons, Iran is currently restrained by a directive from the country’s Supreme Leader against the development of weapons of mass destruction.
