IPL: Whoever comes in to replace Jos Buttler is going to do a great job for us, says RR assistant coach Shane Bond

Jos Buttler Shane Bond IPL RR Rajasthan Royals Royals Sanju Samson New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Shane Bond, the assistant coach and fast-bowling mentor of Rajasthan Royals, expressed confidence in the depth of their squad, emphasising that whoever steps in to replace Jos Buttler after the league stage of IPL 2024 will make a significant contribution if the team advances to the playoffs.

Rob Key, England men’s managing director, recently confirmed that Buttler, set to lead the England side in the upcoming T20 World Cup, will depart from IPL 2024 after the league stage concludes. This decision is part of a broader commitment by key players to participate in a T20I series against Pakistan, coinciding with the IPL playoffs.
