VISAKHAPATNAM: The city task force police busted an IPL betting racket and arrested two persons. Police seized laptops, mobiles, phones, TV sets, gadgets and 5,000 in cash from the accused.
The arrested were identified as K Rambabu and G Venkata Satyanarayana. Police said Rambabu got involved in cricket betting to earn easy money to lead a lavish life. Later, he became a bookie and started luring punters. He, with the help of co-accused Satyanarayana, had been organising a cricket betting racket.
