BENGALURU: It is early days yet but going by past performances, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) cannot afford to ease into form. They need to secure every win possible, especially at home. Bengaluru will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Friday and early impressions suggest that gaps in their batting and bowling units need to be filled. KKR, who have won the last five matches here, hold an edge.
As a side story, the clash also puts the spotlight on Virat Kohli vs Gautam Gambhir rivalry that erupted amid a controversy in the last edition. At that time, Gambhir was the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants, and has since shifted to KKR in the same role.
