Match number 2 of IPL 2023 will see the two teams which competed in the final of the 2014 season go up against each other. It will be Punjab Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders in Mohali.

The two outfits of course have undergone a sea change since that 2014 summit clash which KKR won to clinch their second IPL title. Punjab are still looking for their first title.
