Sunrisers Hyderabad will have realised the folly of leaving it late. With nothing to play for in an inconsequential match against Punjab Kings, they will look to end their campaign with a win in the last league match of the IPL at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
SRH started with three defeats but turned it around with an impressive run of five consecutive wins only to succumb to five defeats and just about managed to scrape past Mumbai Indians by three runs in their penultimate match. They are level on 12 points with Punjab Kings and both teams went out of the reckoning for the playoffs after Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Titans on Thursday.
