NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad finished last among 8 teams in the last edition of the Indian Premier League. But this time, a rejuvenated team, led by the supremely talented Kane Williamson will be looking to regain its lost pride. The 2016 champions had a decent run at the auction table in February and they now go into the 15th edition of the tournament with some major changes.
The Hyderabad-based franchise has been pitted in Group B and will take on Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders twice this season, in the league phase. To go with that, they also play Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants once in their 14 scheduled matches.
