Most people who have had an iPhone for even a short amount of time know how to work the basics of Siri. The built-in voice-controlled personal assistant is available for Apple users.
By talking to it you can ask it to do things such as making calls, texts, using apps and getting things done with just the use of your voice. According to Apple it says you can "do it all even when your hands are full".
This means it can help you stay in touch with others by asking it to text or call people, set reminders and even find where you parked your car. It promises to offer the "strongest privacy" of any intelligent assistant - but not everyone knows everything it can do.
According to the The Sun many are only just realising the full extent of the skills of the assistant. And one of its lesser-known tricks is that you can share whatever you're looking at with a simple Siri command. This can be everything from a social media post to a photograph or a news story to a podcast just by using a simple voice command.
To do this you must make sure Hey Siri is enabled. Go to Settings > Siri & Search, then toggle on "Listen for 'Hey Siri'." Then all you need to do is say: "Share this page with [CONTACT NAME]".
Apple advises: "You can share onscreen items like photos, webpages, content from Apple Music or Apple Podcasts, Maps locations, and more with people in your contacts. For example, when looking at a photo in your Photo library, say something like 'Hey Siri, send this to mom' to create a new message with the photo."
For the feature to work, you have to make sure that you're trying to share content with a phone contact. If the person isn't saved in your contacts under the correct name, you won't be able to share content with them using Siri.
