In under a month, the iPhone range could see its biggest shake-up since the iPhone X launched in 2017. Rumours abound that 9th September is the date to watch – that's when we could see the long-fabled folding iPhone be unveiled, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. And the standard iPhone 18? That's not expected to launch until the spring.

This two-tier launch approach would see the standard iPhone 18 debut at the same time as the second-gen iPhone Air and successor to the iPhone 17e. Think of it as Apple's bargain bin event.
