The iPhone 16 could receive a brand new key on its right side and rumor has it that it will be called the Capture button. It's not often you get a completely new button on a phone (last year's Pro series iPhones aside), so we're excited to see what this could possibly entail.
There was no word about the Capture Button, or anything to do with iPhone 16 at WWDC 2024, which is not surprising. However rumors tell us that this button will be completely distinct from the iPhone 15 Pro's Action button, and will have its own distinct functionality. There haven’t been many rumors on what the Capture button will be all about, but we can piece together the details and get an idea of what Apple could have in store for us.
