LUCKNOW: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be performing the bhoomi pujan ceremony for some 1400 projects kickstarting during the third ground breaking ceremony slated to take place on June 3.
The fact came to fore during the review of the preparations for the event held here on Monday. Convened by chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the review meeting was attended by top officials who apprised the CM about the sequence of events while he directed officials to undertake steps to make it a grand success. Officials informed that nearly 50 industry bigwigs will attend the ceremony which will see investment of more than 1400 projects having a financial worth of Rs 80,000 crore.
They also informed that the projects will create employment for five lakh youths besides strengthening the state economy.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the 'bhumi pujan' of about 1400 projects in GBC 3. He will also see the special stalls of ODOP during the ceremony. The Prime Minister will also take a group photograph with all the 50 industrialists," an official statement from the state government said.
Officials also informed that an exhibition of 110 stalls will be organized on the occasion which will showcase handicrafts and artwork from the state being promoted under one district one product scheme.
Stalls on rocket technology and Brahmos Missile, highlighting the upcoming Defense Corridor in the state, one of the two commissioned in the country so far, will also be a part of the exhibition, said officials.
