Investigation launched after construction site crane collapses on moving car

  • Four people suffered minor injuries when a construction crane toppled onto a moving vehicle in Miami 's Brickell neighborhood on Monday morning.
  • The falling piling rig set the moving car on fire and crushed two unoccupied parked vehicles.
  • The female driver successfully put her car in reverse and escaped as the vehicle caught fire.
  • Two construction workers trapped inside a struck storage container and the crane operator were rescued and taken to local hospitals .
  • Miami officials reported no fatalities and stated that the cause of the crane collapse is currently under investigation .
