An investigation has been launched after a 62-year-old man died following a collision in Northumberland.
Northumbria Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a crash on the A69 near Haydon Bridge on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency services arrived on scene after 1.30pm but the 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man, aged 68, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road is currently closed eastbound from Greenhead B6318 and westbound from Acomb A6079 and diversions are in place.
