Controversial influencer Braden Peters, better known online as Clavicular, is once again going viral after appearing in a Miami courtroom over the Everglades alligator shooting case. However, this time, many people online were not only talking about the legal case. Instead, social media users became focused on the judge’s appearance and courtroom presence, with many joking that the judge “mogged” the influencer during the hearing.
The word “mogged” is popular internet slang used in looksmaxxing communities. It usually means someone looked more impressive, confident, or attractive than another person. Since Clavicular built his online fame around “looksmaxxing,” many viewers found it ironic that people online believed the judge overshadowed him during the court appearance. The clips quickly spread across social media platforms, turning the courtroom moment into a viral meme discussion.
Fans say Clavicular was “mogged” by judge during Miami hearing
The courtroom appearance happened after Clavicular and fellow influencer Andrew Morales pleaded no contest Friday in connection to an alleged alligator shooting incident in the Florida Everglades. Both men were sentenced to six months of probation and ordered to complete 20 hours of community service, along with firearm and wildlife safety courses.
Soon after videos from the hearing appeared online, social media users flooded comment sections with jokes. One viral comment read, “You’re laughing? Clavicular got frame mogged by a Miami judge and you’re laughing?!?”
Another comment read, “Judgemogging is now a thing.”
Another user wrote, “Holy shit, the judge is hotter than he is.”
The reactions spread quickly because Clavicular is widely known online for promoting “looksmaxxing,” a trend where people try to improve their appearance through extreme methods. Peters has previously spoken publicly about using unhealthy methods to stay lean, which has made him a controversial figure online.
The legal case itself comes from a March incident in the Everglades. Authorities said the influencers were seen in a video allegedly shooting at an alligator from an airboat. Prosecutors later charged them with unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place.
In short, although the Miami hearing ended without a trial, the internet focused less on the legal outcome and more on the unexpected viral joke that the judge completely stole the spotlight from Clavicular in court.
