Internet crash at Aviva Stadium results in free pints for group of lucky spectators

There were massive queues inside the Aviva Stadium as those at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic were lucky enough to scoop free pints.

Some 13,000 Americans and thousands of Irish packed inside Dublin's Aviva Stadium as the Nebraska Huskers took on Northwestern Wildcats.

And although there was some thrilling action for the fans to drink in as Northwestern took a 17-14 lead against the odds at the break, fans were able to drink in free pints after internet went down in the stadium. The tills at the Aviva Stadium were unable to process transactions during the game so match goers were able to scoop up free alcohol and concessions.
