Discover:Esports, the brainchild of Hexham-born freelance events organiser Sally Kevan, brought two days of speakers and workshops to the Boiler Shop in a bid to educate businesses about the fundamentals of the industry which has been valued at $1.4bn in 2022. Around 130 delegates attended the conference that was designed to shine a light on the topic for uninitiated businesses that might benefit - particularly from sponsorship and marketing opportunities.
