Connor Barron has joined Championship side Middlesbrough on a season-long loan from Rangers.
The 24-year-old midfielder travelled south to complete the move after slipping down the pecking order at Ibrox this summer.

Barron joined Rangers from Aberdeen in the summer of 2024 but has made only two substitute appearances so far this season.
Derek McInnes has strengthened his central-midfield options with the arrivals of Dan Neil, Vanja Dragojevic and Cammy Devlin, while the manager is also operating with a midfield two.
With Rangers not involved in European competition this season, opportunities for Barron were expected to be limited, and he has been allowed to head to Teesside in search of regular first-team football.

Mo Diomande has already departed Ibrox this summer to join Turkish club Çorum FK. Nico Raskin remains at the club, although he continues to attract interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia, where transfer windows remain open.
Barron will join a Middlesbrough side that narrowly missed out on promotion from the Championship last season and currently sits sixth in the table with a game in hand.
